SEED Foundation stands for Social, Educational and Environmental Development Foundation. SEED Foundation is a result of long-term friendship between Mr. Damodar Bhakta Thapa and Mr. Theo Kiewiet from Netherlands. It was established in 2003 as non profit and non-governmental organization and was registered in the District Administration Office in Kaski and also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is set up by a group of enthusiastic socially committed people targeting to serve and help on Social, Educational and Environmental sectors to improve the situation of rural people and to play a key role for the protection of environments making local people aware.

A civilized and prosperous society where Social harmony prevails,and all children gets quality education and all people get equal opportunity to participate in the conservation of Environment.
Mission Statement of Organization:
Helping the society to eliminate social discrimination, to create academic environment for the quality education at government run schools and to enhance awareness about the protection of our venerable environment through Sanitation, income generating and tree plantation.
