SEED Foundation stands for Social, Educational and Environmental Development Foundation. It was established in 2003 as non profit and non-governmental organization and was registered in the District Administration Office in Kaski, and also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council in Kathmandu, Nepal
SEED was founded by Damodar Thapa, a local resident and Theo Kiewet from Netherlands, a long time visitor to the area. Our work began as private funding to 20 local children to attend school. The board of directors is comprised of a culturally diverse group of local members from across a variety of sectors including health and education.
